Heartwood Farm is the home of Val Steinmann, Brent Klassen and their three children, Kieran, Nathan and Joel. Val is the primary farmer in the family, with a deep sense of passion for ecological farming. Utilizing draft-horse power, naturally grazing a variety of livestock, respecting the farm's diverse natural ecosystems and connecting people to the land and the story of sustainably grown food are all part of the Heartwood Farm vision.
